Service was a little slow on the second trip but USA was playing in the World Cup on the tv so the time passed. It has gravy mixed all into the roast beef which soaks into the bread. The 2 entrees I had on both trips were the buffalo shrimp po boy which was very fresh and flavorful and the roast beef with debris po boy which may have been one of the best roast beef sandwich I have ever had. ![]() I had the crab and crawfish cake appetizer which could have been a meal in itself and was so good. Homemade potato chips are so thin cut they melt in your mouth. The inside is nothing fancy but the food was great. If I were just driving buy the place, I probably wouldn't have stopped. We ate here twice during our stay for lunch because it was so good. Avondale Brewing Company, Carrigan's Public House, and Carrigan's Public House are some really cool bars with local brews and cocktails Nana Funk, The Vault Bar and Lounge, Tia Roof, and Jazzi’s on 3rd are a few outlets for clubbing and live performances.I found this little place tucked behind the Original Oyster House after some reviews I read.
